ACCELERATOR PROGRAM
Start.Pivot.Grow. Accelerator is a national accelerator and business development program fueling equitable distribution of wealth, economic development and business innovation by supporting small to midsize businesses through results driven business education, business advising and access to capital programs.
Start.Pivot.Grow. Accelerator, in partnership with Dallas College, offers low to no cost business management training courses, workshops and webinars to business executives, managers and leaders across the U.S. to enhance workforce skills to improve productivity, operational efficiencies and maximize profitability.
We offer grant-funded accelerators for small to midsize business owners and operators looking to build and scale their businesses into 6-figure to 7-figure revenue generating ventures that create jobs, access capital and build stronger communities. We partner with community colleges, CDFIs, banks and corporations to deliver practical real-world business education, technical assistance and access to capital to BIPOC entrepreneurs.
HOW IT WORKS
ACCELERATOR REQUIREMENTS
Business Owner
Own and operate an active retail, e-commerce, or franchise business for 3 years or more
Number of Employee
Must have 2 or more employees or contractors (including owner)
Annual Revenue
Must earn $100,000 or more in annual revenue
Time Commitment
Must be able to attend online and onsite workshops, webinars and business advising sessions 1-2 days a week for 8-10 weeks
Application
Process
Applicants must apply online, supply all documents and data required for assessment. Participants will be notified 3 weeks prior to Accelerator start date. All approved participants are asked to complete the training program, business advising and apply to pitch for grant award at the end of each cohort. Approval is not guaranteed. Contestants compete for entry.
