Two New For Profit Business Grants Announced

Commercial Lending Is Tight and More Small Businesses Are Searching for Grant Funds

In 2022, the BOSS Network launched the BOSS Impact Fund’s “Invest in Progress” grant in partnership with Sage, the global market leader for technology that provides small and medium businesses with the visibility, flexibility and efficiency to manage finances, operations and people, as part of a three-year investment fund aimed at making a substantial impact and breaking barriers for entrepreneurs from marginalized communities.

On top of the $700,000 in grants already distributed, Sage will be investing an additional $250,000 in grants for entrepreneurs this year and provide 1-year of monthly mentorship through the BOSS Business University, marketing for each business, and guidance to help achieve their goals with everything that’s needed to successfully start and grow a business. Attendance at monthly two-hour workshops, quarterly training, and events throughout the year will be required.

Applications are open now through February 23, 2024 at 6PM ET. Preference will be given to Black Women Entrepreneurs. For a full list of eligibility requirements, please read the terms and conditions.
